The students arrived in Jinan after touring Beijing for several days. Upon the arrival at Jinan #1 High School they watched a performance from the students and were later treated to a wonderful dinner in Jinan. One day was spent in the classrooms presenting information about what it is like to live in
America. Each of the Peninsula students gave a presentation and afterwards took the remaining class time to answer questions from the students. The first weekend was spent with their host families. The second week has been spent touring Jinan and the beautiful sites of the city. The PHS staff and students have had a wonderful time in China.
