The
boys basketball team makes history! For just the second time in
the school’s 60 year history, the boys basketball team will play
in the state tournament this week in Seattle. The Seahawks will
play in the first round of the 3A State Basketball Tournament on
Wednesday, March 5 at 4:00 at Key Arena, home of the Seattle
Supersonics. Peninsula’s first round opponent is the Rainier
Beach Vikings, the number one team in the state 3A poll. We want
to “pack the Key” on Wednesday afternoon. Advance tickets are on
sale at the school ($9 for adults and $7 for students with an
ASB). Let’s cheer on the Seahawks as they battle for the state
championship! |
